The Founder Story
Lindsay Sanderson is the founder of Sanderson Advisors, a boutique operations and communications studio supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs who need an experienced, reliable professional to help with the day-to-day responsibilities that often fall to the bottom of the to-do list, but are critical to the bottom line.
With a combined 20 years in retail leadership, sales and franchising operations, and business communication, Lindsay specializes in helping businesses run smoothly behind the scenes. Her educational background in communications (Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and a Master’s Degree in Business Communication), paired with many years at a Fortune 100 Company led her to leverage her knowledge and skills to create value for others.
Through Sanderson Advisors, she provides done-for-you services so businesses can focus on planning and growth. Lindsay brings a unique blend of strategic thinking, calm execution, and human-centered communication. Her background in franchise operations gives her a deep understanding of scalable systems, consistent process and the realities of running a business day-to-day. I use tested and proven techniques but there are many factors that go into digital marketing (to name a few - is there a market for the product or service, how well do you understand your customer, is your website functional and user friendly?). Copywriting is one cog in the overall machine so there are never any guarantees on results but we’ll work together to create copy that works hard for you, using solutions that have worked well for MANY others!

As you can imagine it depends on the project but generally I will return a first draft to you within 7 days. If you’re in a crunch and that just won’t do, some projects can be turned around sooner for a rush fee.

I keep it simple and easy for you. You will receive a link to a Google doc where you can easily add comments, feedback and suggested edits. If you’re not familiar with Google docs, no worries - I’ll send you a short tutorial, but I promise, it won’t be painful!

Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools like Chat GPT have improved a lot! In fact they are very helpful in generating ideas or outlines. But they are not advanced enough to think like a well-trained copywriter that will infuse tone, style, and your brand voice. It can’t generate emotional responses, smart humor, or impactful examples. Effective copywriting requires expertise and human creativity.
